The Shark Game — a two-sided CHUM wager
Fish and Sharks both wager CHUM. Fish pick how deep to dive; Sharks provide the house capital. At round close, randomness decides every Fish. Survive for the published multiple, or lose the wager to the patrol.
CHUM has no mint function. No emissions. No team-funded rewards. CHUM is the fixed-supply Pons token; the game only moves wagers that players put in.
Live from the water
Capacity is not a marketing counter. Every Fish liability is reserved against real shark capital before entry, and the 2% close-time rake is reserved too. The contract never promises more than it holds.
The food chain, rebuilt
Escrow a Shark NFT and post CHUM. Bite sets both the house capital cap and the share of caught wagers and unused capital.
Escrow a Fish NFT, choose Shallows, Open Water, or The Deep, and sign a wager after seeing the exact survival roll and payout.
After 24 hours one random word resolves every Fish. Survivors get their wager plus the liability multiple; caught wagers feed the Sharks.

Fair survival payouts would be 1.111×, 1.429×, and 2×. The published multiples leave a 1%, 2%, and 5% house edge before the protocol rake. A whole wager can disappear on one roll.
